Directions to the Gallery

The most important thing you need to know is that WE ARE NOT IN BURMARSH!. It is the nearest village to us, but technically DYMCHURCH is a better reference point as we are located on the inland road from Dymchurch village centre. If you find yourselves in Burmarsh, simply head out of the village (with the pub and church to the right) for about 1 mile, and turn left at the junction with the metal sculpture.

FROM NORTH KENT / LONDON : Turn off M20 at Ashford J10. At roundabout, follow A20 (signposted Hythe) for 2 miles (you pass Tesco on your right, and do not turn right towards Mersham after 1 mile). Turn right down Station Road (signposted Evegate Craft Centre). Drive to Aldington (there are two roads to Aldington as you approach, you can take either). In Aldington, at the only pub (The Walnut Tree), turn down Forge Hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the 1st left (just after the new housing complex) - this road is signposted Boat Lane but actually merges into Eastbridge Road. Drive down this road for 3 miles and we are on the right - DO NOT TURN LEFT TOWARDS BURMARSH AT THE METAL SCULPTURE - we are located at the first set of buildings after this junction. Follow the signs for La Ceramica Gallery for the Open Weekend.

FROM WEST KENT : Take the suitable route to Tenterden. Then follow the B2067, and pass through Hamstreet, Woodchurch (you pass the Rare Breeds Centre), Ruckinge and Bilsington. At the junction (about 1.5 miles after Bilsington), turn right and drive for about 2.5 miles. Do not turn towards Burmarsh at the metal sculpture - keep going and we are located at the first set of buildings after this junction.

FROM SOUTH / EAST / WEST KENT VIA COAST ROAD : Follow the coast road (A259) to Dymchurch. Turn up Eastbridge Road (at the mini-roundabout in Dymchurch) and drive for 2 miles. We are on the left hand side (if you miss the turn drive another few hundred metres and turn around at the metal sculpture). IN DYMCHURCH, DO NOT TURN UP BURMARSH ROAD!, turn inland at the mini-roundbout. There are other routes from East Kent - if the above is not suitable choose another route (eg. B2068 from Canterbury).
